Umbral

"Umbral" is an autobiographical documentary made by a mother who follows her son's gender transition, capturing the various phases he goes through in a deep search for his identity. At the same time, the mother, revealed behind the camera through her voice speaking to her son and through a muted first-person narration, herself goes through a transformation process required by the situation that life presents to her.
