La Encomienda

La Encomienda, a clandestine ship carrying people and cargo illegally, wrecks in Caribbean waters shortly after setting sail from the Dominican coast. Pietro floats as best he can in a sea that threatens to devour him at any moment. Hunger and thirst give him no respite. Every minute could be his last. Until suddenly he discovers that he is not alone. Someone else shares his destiny. Under that same sky and on that same sea, this unexpected presence forces him to confront his own belief system and his prejudices, in an infinite and salty world, where nothing works as before, where a drop of fresh water can weigh as much as an ethical dilemma.
