Lo que queda
Director: Mariel Escobar
Feature film · 2023 · 64'
Ana has been living in Canada for three years. When she receives the news that Julián, her first boyfriend, has had an accident and is in a coma, she impulsively returns to Buenos Aires, accompanied by her new partner, J.B.
Putting her present on hold, Ana tries to accompany Julián's mother and sister through the agony, no longer finding her place in that family. In secret, she takes refuge in the apartment she once shared with him. Amid the disorder, she listens to his songs and goes through videos of their past, reencountering the plans for a future they never got to build together.
Stunned by the storm that never comes and the constant dreams of Julián and the sea, Ana begins to mourn a story that, despite time and distance, seems to have not yet found its end.
